Woodlands Town Garden

Woodlands Town Garden is a relatively small park, located approximately 10 mins walk from Marsiling MRT station. It is quite a quiet park with a small lake in the middle.

Due to its proximity to the Woodlands Checkpoint, its main group of visitors are people who are either going or coming back from our neighbouring country, Malaysia.

Quite a nice view from across the lake

Industries can be seen from afar
A patch of forest near to the park, which I think might be a good refuge for birds and butterflies from all the human disturbances

Man-made canal situated along the park
bush brown
Dingy Bush Brown (Mycalesis perseus cepheus) puddling on the shelter floor
Scaly-breasted Munia or Spotted Munia (Lonchura punctulata) feeding on the grass seeds
striped albatross
Striped Albatross (Appias libythea olferna)

The park didn't impress me much, but I hope we can see more next time :)
