Migratory season is here!!! @ Bedok Reservoir Park


Migratory season is here!!

My friend spotted 3 kinds of migratory bird visitors in just one morning alone.

Here goes:

And my first proper shot of a Lime butterfly (Papilio demoleus malayanus)

I was surprised to be able to see migratory birds just in the comfort of an urbanised park, interesting to note that there was a patch of spontaneous vegetation beside the Syzygium grande trees where these birds were spotted.

Perhaps the presence of a spontaneous patch of vegetation or forest can serve as a refuge for these migratory birds? Worth thinking about...
