Sengkang Riverside Park

Sengkang Riverside Park is a relatively new park with lots and lots of fruit trees. But due to the fact that it is a new park, the trees are pretty much saplings.

My first impression: HOT HOT HOT!!! The trees couldn't provide much shade, so it was getting increasingly unbearbly hot, especially in the heat of the noon...

The park was located about 10 mins walk from Farmway LRT station, which you will have to take from Sengkang LRT. Not a very accessible park...

Located in a rather new estate, construction can be seen everywhere..

These shelters are situated along the park, not very good in sheltering from the rain.. and some of the shelters were infested with red weaver ants...

Long tailed shrike says goodbye :)

Quite an interesting park despite of the sweltering heat, the sighting of the Long tailed shrike (a first for me) was an added bonus !
